COVID-19 MEMBER INFORMATION

As we continue to monitor the latest updates from federal, state, and county officials in regard to the spread of COVID-19 on Kauai, we will keep you updated with the latest changes to our operations and continue to remind all of our members to exercise all posted precautions. 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic we have adjusted our hours of operation at both our Kapaa and Lihue locations. For more facility information please contact visit the clubs section above. 

Monday-Friday 5am-10pm  

Saturday-Sunday 7am-7pm 

1. Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds when you ARRIVE for your workout. (We also recommend that you wash them when you are done with your workout.)
 
2. Please utilize the hand sanitizer stations DURING your workouts. 
 
3. Please wipe down ALL equipment after use. Concentrate on areas that you TOUCH. 
(Dumbbells, barbells, attachments, balls, bands, handles,knobs etc.) 
 
4. Please limit personal items to those that you can carry with you. Please NO gym bags inside until further notice.
 
5. Shared chalk bins will not be provided. 
 
6. Please respect social distancing guidelines of keeping 6ft. between each other.
 
This means you may only be able to use every other cardio or strength machine in certain areas. If you must wait longer than usual to use equipment, please be patient as we get through this soft reopening phase. 
 
7. The showers will remain closed until further notice. 
 
8.Our staff will be wearing masks to protect our members. We respectfully ask members to wear them throughout the entire duration of your visit.

9. We are employing a ONE AT THE DOOR, ONE ON THE FLOOR schedule for our team. The team member at the FRONT desk will be available for membership needs and to sanitize often touched surfaces like counters, door handles, water machine, and cardio equipment. The team member on the FLOOR will be systematically sanitizing all equipment, exercise spaces, and bathrooms.  

We will be utilizing a HIGH VOLUME DISINFECTANT machine that will quickly FOG all of the equipment, air, and floor surfaces thoroughly and quickly 3X per day.  Members will have to wait  15-20 minutes while we complete this process. Times to be determined. 

10. If you’re  feeling  sick  or unwell in ANY way please stay home. 
 
              
       
 
 
 
 

Please be advised that pursuant to Mayor Kawakami’s Re-instated Mayor’s Emergency Rule #6 cloth face coverings must be worn at all times at the KAC locations. 

Please review the rule here:
 Rule: Pursuant to HRS §127A-12(a)(5)(D), §127A-12(c)(12), and §127A-25, except as provided herein, all persons five (5) years of age or older are required to wear some form of face-covering over their nose and mouth, whether indoors or outdoors, in any setting in which they are in close contact (within 6 feet) of people who don’t live in their immediate household. Face coverings must be worn by employees, customers, and visitors at all times inside any establishment in which close contact may occur.
